MEKSI (MEdical Knowledge SImulator) is an online training tool that lets medical students and doctors practise clinical consultations with AI virtual patients. These terms govern your use of meksi.com and the MEKSI product.
By creating an account or using MEKSI, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
MEKSI is for education and practice only. The virtual patients, the responses they give and the performance reports MEKSI produces are training material. They are not medical advice, not a diagnosis and not a substitute for supervised clinical training or the judgement of a qualified clinician.
MEKSI is not a medical device. Nothing in the product should be used to make decisions about a real patient.
You need an account to buy or access case packs. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.
You must give accurate information when you register, and you must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
Case packs are priced per pack in Australian dollars and are charged as a one-time payment through our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your card details. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
Some packs are offered free from time to time. A free pack gives the same access as a paid pack for as long as we make it available.
Institutional licences are arranged separately by agreement. Contact us for details.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a pack is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
Because packs are digital content you get access to immediately, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds once you have opened a pack. If something is wrong with a pack you bought, contact us at info@meksi.com and we will put it right.
Use MEKSI for your own learning. Do not share your account, resell access, scrape the content, or try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service. Do not upload anything unlawful or use MEKSI to harass anyone.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
The cases, courses, reports, software and branding are owned by MEKSI or our contributors. Buying a pack gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your own training. It does not transfer ownership of anything.
We work to keep MEKSI available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these terms. If we make a significant change to the terms, we will let you know.
To the extent the law allows, MEKSI is not liable for any loss that results from using the product as anything other than the training tool it is. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes are handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
Questions about these terms: info@meksi.com.
